Dr. Natalie H. Zadok in her Parisian-style study

“I wrote Brave Belle because I wanted my children—and every child—to know that their differences are their greatest strengths.”

— Dr. Natalie H. Zadok

A Story of Two Journeys

Dr. Natalie H. Zadok never planned to write a children's book. She planned to teach, to research, to shape the future of education from inside the classroom. Then sarcoma changed everything.

The diagnosis came unexpectedly. The surgery that followed made her a below-knee amputee. But in the quiet months of recovery, as she learned to walk again, Natalie found something she hadn't expected: a story. It was a story about a girl named Belle who dreamed of Paris, who faced her own impossible challenge, and who discovered that true courage is simply choosing to keep going.

Today, Natalie is the founder of Brave Belle, a brand that uses the magic of storytelling to teach children about disability awareness, inclusion, and the extraordinary courage that lives inside all of us.

Educator

Dr. Zadok holds a doctorate in education and has spent over a decade shaping young minds, believing that every classroom should be a space of empowerment.

Sarcoma Survivor

Diagnosed with sarcoma and now a below-knee amputee, Natalie transformed her greatest challenge into her most powerful gift: a story that teaches children bravery is beautiful.
